Day 71 Sat 0512 - Dismantling and Packing my Bike at the Hotel Lobby

Today Spend: 423 k dong   Total: 2710 Rmb+ 5163 k dong+ 1989 k kips

Finding a bike box at the end of a long tour has always been a headache for most tourers.In Da Nang so far I have not seen one decent bike shop yet,what I had seen shops mostly with some ready made basic bikes hanging or displaying together with some other merchants,not really a genuine bike shop.I am sure there are if you really take the trouble to search from the Internet or walk more streets  with the hope to find one.Knowing that troublesome too well,hence I have carried along with me a bike bag from the beginning of the tour,to save the trouble of finding bike box at the end of the tour.
Advantages of carrying a bike bag : 1. No hassle to find box at end of tour
                                                          2. No problem to load into taxi or bus
                                                          3. Can ride direct to airport and pack
                                                          4. Can use it for groundsheet,or pillow during camping

Removed the rear tire,fender,derailleur and disengaged the rear suspension

Removed the front tire,the boom,and turn the fort 180 degree with the help from the hotel owner

Wrapped and secured with packing tape

Put in the 2 rims and rack together into the bike bag - Merry X'mas
