All flat road for today's ride to the capital city of Laos,Vientiane.We took a very relaxing pace stopping at several places looking for foods and drinks.The traffic is rather heavy as we moved nearer to the city.We saw one signboard showing a nice waterfall,9km from the main road,the local told us 7km is tarmac and 2km of earth road,but Hong is not feeling well with stomach problem,i think he badly needed a good bed to rest,so we continued the last 15km to Vientiane.With the phone GPS guide,we rode to the famous Patuxay Monument for a group photo before we started looking for accomodation.After several went around,we found a reasonable Mixok Guesthouse in Sethathirath Road for a twin bed with attached bathroom,aircon,and wifi for 100k kips.Hong was feeling better after several hours of sleep, and we went for food hunting at the night market along the bank of Mekong River.
