After well rested for two days in Vientiane,today is our last day riding together.Hong and Coey will be crossing the Mittabap or Friendship Bridge to Nongkhai,Thailand while I continued to ride along the Mekong River on the Laos side. We wished each other good luck and all the best after visiting Buddha Park (ticket 5k kips) to join them,they had been such a good riding companions,and i feel sad to say goodbye.Continuing my solo ride after having noodle soup in Buddha Park,the road along the River bank turned into gravel with powdery flying dust whenever a vehicle or truck zoom passed, it lasted for nearly 20km before it finally joined back the main road 13, with the main road so straight and flat,I don't feel like stopping.By 60km mark,I noticed an empty park seems abandoned cos' the water and power had been cut,I ventured a little inner,there was a beautiful lake greenish in colour with the sun setting.I also saw the villagers collected water directly with the blue container and taking bath. What a perfect campsite for tonight.
