My longest day ride and i am burnt to the maximum, even now resting in guesthouse,my whole body is like an oven,kept drinking water.Just imagine for 7 hour 38 min almost 120km under hot sun to arrive at Thakhek,a town situated opposite to Nakhon Phanom,Thailand over the Mekong River.Surprisingly,there is very few guesthouses here,only saw 2-3 expensive looking hotels along the riverside,round and round found one but was 300m from the main road but looks like out of business as nobody was around to serve me. I back track to the roundabout and searching on the road to Sanavakhet,finally settled in Thipphachanh hotel for a not so good room 60k kips to quickly go for a cold shower to cool down my body temperature. So annoying that i couldn't really rest well cos' there is a wedding dinner and karaoke going on full blast.It's ridicules,the wedding and karaoke was held in an open hall,how on earth the hotel guests( me)going to sleep well?
