Today's ride is quite relaxing and comfortable,weather is cloudy but facing strong headwind probably blowing from the sea of Vietnam. Just before Sepon,met with a solo cyclist named Paul from England on the opposite direction.He started cycling in India and already 4 years on the road.Paul recommended a War Museum in Ban Dong worth to pay a visit,but when I arrived there,the museum is closed for lunch hour,but the entrance gate is still open for me to take some pictures of the US war helicopter,trucks,tanks captured by Vietnam and Laos during the Vietnam War.The main office is locked so I did not get to enter for more information. Feeling hungry with 10 more km to Dansavan, I stop at a roadside shelter to cook instant noodle and hot coffee for some energy to arrive in Dansavan by 4pm.Again it's a very small border town,the guesthouses mostly in bad condition. The guesthouse that i chosen,room full of spider web, TV not working and bed sheet looks worn out and dirty,still asking for 60k with no wifi some more.Wanted to cook dinner but the gas is almost finished, so change plan to eat instant noodle with hot water from the guesthouse,the owner family is having their dinner,and they offer me a bowl of rice to go with my fried egg and sausages.That's wonderful !! Tonight could be my last night in Laos as tomorrow i will be crossing over to Vietnam for the 2nd time for my final phase of this tour.
