Safely touch down in Shuangliu International Airport,Chengdu after 4 hr flight from Kuala Lumpur.The local time is 1.30pm,China and Malaysia have the same time. The weather is cloudy with a cooling temp of 22c. We decided to get the taxi to our prebook hostel Tobyflags in 2 taxi ,my bike box being smaller has no problem in getting to the taxi,but unfortunately my ride partner Hifi Ming's has problem,so i left first and gave the hostel name,address and telephone to him to meet up in the hostel later.When I am on the way,i asked the driver to call the hostel and the reply got me mad that the hostel is being rented out to a party,and ask me to go to another hostel under the same boss, never trust the Chinese. I started to assemble my bike and inform the boss that i have another partner with me,my partner will definitely go to the earlier hostel,and ask him to come to this hostel to meet up with me.After waited until 8.30pm finally my partner arrived in a motorbike minivan. With so much worry and uncertainty on our 1st day in Chengdu,it's good that we got united again and looking forward to our day riding tomorrow.
