It was a cold morning 7.50am when we roll out from our Binguan,the road is still wet due to the rain yesterday,with the windbreaker on to keep warm,we approached a roundabout,and turn 9 o'clock to enter route S205 with the huge mountain waiting for us.From the GPS map we knew this road is built along a river,so we were riding in the valley between mountains,the climbs is quite gradual to the top,then came the downhill back to the river again.We met 3 young Chinese rider from Chengdu riding the same direction,but they are on a very light weight,they invited us to ride toghther,but we knew both of us being fully loaded,we just follow our own pace.The distance from Jiangyou to Pingwu 平武we thought is 75 km provided by MapsMe is all wrong, The Chinese riders show to us is actually 120km. No way we can reach Pingwu, so we decided to stop at 101km and the time is already 6pm,checking in the local石大姐 restaurant accomodation for 40 Rmb, cheap but the dinner of pork leg soup was really cut throat for 68 Rmb. Another very tiring exhausted ride.Tomorrow the climbs will be steeper according to the Chinese riders.
