Today's ride was short and relatively easier than the previous 2 days. Hifi Ming have to look for bike shop to replace one of his rear spoke due to broken. We met up with the 3 Chinese riders in the town,its not easy to find one bike shop,luckily with the help of the Chinese rider,he managed to find a replacement while i waited for nearly 1.5 hr at the entrance of their hotel.We left at 11am while the Chinese riders later. Today our target is Jiuzhaigoukou which is only 45 km with gradual ascent.The weather was perfect sunny.We stop at one of the Tibetan restaurant for lunch rather costly for 74 Rmb,if the same dishes at the city would only cost 25-35 Rmb. By the road side often the locals stand there with a paper card written as " Zhusu住宿" which means accommodation. By 4.30pm, we found a nice hotel for 100 Rmb after bargaining down from 260 Rmb.We ask the owner to call the Chinese riders to inform them that we are staying here, half an hour later,the Chinese riders arrived and one of them have a minor fall from the bike while climbing. We went for a nice dinner nearby and the Chinese riders insisted to foot the bill,so kind.
