Chengdu is a big city,the place we stayed is located in the southern end of the city,and we were heading to the north,so there is a long way of riding into the madness of Chengdu traffic,i am quite used to riding under heavy traffic before but my partner was too careful and cautious,i had to wait for him on several occasions.People say " if you can't beat them,then join them" might have some truth in it.Once out of the last ring of the city center,we arrived the 1st town in Xindu where we managed to grap our breakfast of steamed xiao long pau小籠包 and hot soya beam drink for 10 Rmb.The traffic now is not too heavy but still many super wide traffic light junctions that hinder our smooth ride.By noon we were in Guanghan 廣漢where we took our lunch,two plates of oily dish of "Ma la Tofu麻辣豆腐" and pork fried with bittercolt for 22 Rmb. The dishes here are all in very big portion. The sky looks overcast but the rain did not come so we could continue to our next target of Deyang 德陽with another 18km. Hifi Ming has spotted a chain sound on my bike as most of the time he was following me behind,he inspected my chain and found the chain sound came from the rear derailour and i did not realise it during the bike fixing,so i open the chain connector and corrected the mistake.We arrived in Deyang by 4pm and happily check in a cheap stay for 50 Rmb with a big room of 3 beds. After a very nice hot shower we took a much needed nap before we walked out for our dinner at 8 30pm.
