Today border crossing from Hekou in China to Lao Cai in Vietnam.Completed 28 days from Chengdu round the Jiuzhaigou loop and down south to Panzhihua and then bus to Kunming and Hekou exit to Lao Cai,Vietnam. Both the customs border crossing were smooth without checking on my luggage.Once in Lao Cai,1st thing to do is to look for ATM to cash out 1 million Vietnamese Dong but with Bank commision 54k. Not too sure the exchange rate to Ringgit,but I had changed my remaining 126 Rmb to 400k Dong ( 1Rmb=3.4k Dong).Now i am all set to begin my Vietnam tour with the 1st stop to a hill top tourist attraction-Sapa. This will be my 2nd time riding up the 35km uphill road, similary like last time,I camped halfway to enjoy the mountain scenery but the weather was not that clear for good pictures,along the way up,the hill tribe of Yau ethnic people especially the kids were selling their sewing souveniors.Hopefully tomorrow the weather is good when i continue my climb to Sapa.
